Track hosted the CMAC meet
last night. The boys defeated St. Pats, but lost to Bath. The big scorers for
the night were Jordan Rahme, Jared Barton, Devon Rossman and Ryan Winsor.
Jordan had a personal best toss in Shot Put 49Õ 8.5Ó. The lady pirates defeated
Bath and St. Pats. Notable performances included the 3200 Meter Run, 400 and
800 Meter Relay teams. Stevie Mailand in Long Jump, Kayley Grubaugh in the 200
Meter Dash and Betsy Donahue in the 400 Meter Run.
The track teams are back in
action tomorrow at Bath for the Regional meet. The bus will leave at 11:30 a.m.
Golf hosted Bath and
Potterville last night. They are the CMAC Champs this year. Jake Baltimore shot
34 and set a new school record. Aaron Martin shot 37, Dan Desper 39 and Kyle
Trefil 40.
There will be a Cross Country
Meeting today during Channel One outside of Mrs. SmithÕs classroom.
NHS will have a meeting today
during Channel One in the commons.
There is a boyÕs j.v. and
varsity basketball meeting today during Channel One in the commons to discuss
summer basketball camps and open gym dates.
Band students from 1st
and 2nd semesters will have a formal picture taken tomorrow at 11:30
a.m. in the gymnasium. Students should be in concert dress for the picture.
Class officer and student
council petitions are available in the office. They must be turned into the
office by Friday.
Remember to get your tickets
for the play this weekend, Little Nell the Orphan Girl. SaturdayÕs performance
is at 7:00 p.m. and FridayÕs performance is at 2:00 p.m.
The blood drive will be held
on Wednesday the 20th in the gymnasium at 10:00 a.m. There will a
sign up table in the commons during lunch for any students age 17 and over to
sign up to give blood. Students we need your help in donating blood to the Red
Cross because patients with cancer, leukemia, heart disease, sickle cell anemia
and other serious illnesses may need blood transfusions to survive.
