Zachary Verwey, son of Karl and Lori Verwey of Middleton, is the Valedictorian for the Class of 2007. Zach has been a very valuable member of the Pirate Drama Club. He has been a male lead in every drama production while in high school. He has been a member of Business Professionals of America, qualifying for the state competition as a senior. He is president of the National Honor Society, co-president of the Student Council, and an active member of Student
Leadership Forum, Quiz Bowl, SADD, and the Apathy Busters Club. Zach has earned his Varsity letter in Band and Academics, while earning numerous academic awards. He has been a Super Student three times. He is a very active member of the Maple Rapids Congregational Christian Church Youth group. Zach plans to attend Grand Valley State University in the fall to pursue a degree in Marketing and Management. |

Aaron Heinze, son of Bill and Sue Heinze of Ashley, is the Salutatorian for the Class of 2007. Aaron played football for four years, earning Second Team All Conference as a senior. He played baseball for three years and ran track for one year. He was a four-year varsity wrestler, earning Second Team All Conference at 145 pounds as a sophomore, First Team All Conference at 152 pounds as a junior and recorded over 100 career wins. He was selected as a CMAC
Scholar-Athlete. He has been treasurer of his class for four years, treasurer of National Honor Society, and has been a member of Science Honor Society, SADD and the Apathy Busters Club. Aaron has been a Super Student three times and has earned his Varsity letter in Academics. In the fall, Aaron plans to attend Lansing Community College and then transfer to a four-year institution. |

| Eric Lowe is the son of Dan and Carol Lowe of St. Johns. Eric played football for four years earning three Varsity letters. He earned Honorable Mention All Conference, Academic All-State and All-State Honorable Mention as a senior. He played basketball for three years and earned one Varsity letter. Eric was a very successful track athlete. He has earned four varsity letters and has been honored as an All-State performer for three years. Eric is a CMAC Scholar-Athlete. He is the secretary of the National Honor Society, secretary for the Class of 2007 and has been a member of SADD and the Apathy Busters Club. Eric has been very active in 4-H for the past ten years. Academically, Eric has earned two Super Student Awards and three Academic Varsity Awards. He plans to attend Grand Valley State University in the fall to run track and pursue a degree in a math-related field. |

| Aimee Neubauer is the daughter of Mark and Kelly Neubauer of Perrinton. Aimee has been Class President for three years. She has been a member of the Apathy Busters Club, SADD and Business Professionals of America. She has studied jazz, ballet and hip hop for seven years at the Academy of Performing Arts. Aimee has earned three Varsity Academic letters and numerous Achievement Awards in Art, Social Studies, Math and English. She has earned the Michigan Promise Scholarship and plans to attend the International University of Audentes in Tallinn, Estonia, to study Business. |

Samantha Lindenbusch is the daughter of Ted Lindenbusch of Carson City and Jennifer Bones of Punta Gorda, Florida. Sammi played volleyball for two years. She was a member of the Honor Roll all four years and earned two Super Student Awards. The faculty at the Montcalm Area Career Center recognized Sammi in 2006 as the Student Leader of the Year. She plans to attend Michigan State University in the fall where she will double major in Business and
Education. |

| Boa Bongard is the son of Raymond Bongard and the late Linda Bongard of Ashley. Boa played football for two years earning one Varsity letter. He earned three Super Student Awards and numerous Achievement Awards in Science, Math, English, Computers, Industrial Arts and Physical Education. Boa will earn his Gunsmith diploma from the Sonoran Desert Institute and plans to attend Central Michigan University in the fall to study Construction Management. |

Laura Smith is the daughter of Richard and Shelley Smith of Middleton. Laura was a Varsity Cheerleader for three years, played volleyball for two years, basketball for one year and ran track
for one year. She was a member of Student Council for four years serving as Co-President during her senior year. She was a member of the National Honor Society and served as that organization’s Vice-President as a senior. She was a four-year member of SADD, Science Honor Society, and the Apathy Busters Club. She was involved in Business Professionals of America and was honored as a CMAC Scholar-Athlete. The faculty voted her the DAR Good Citizen; she
was a member of the Honor Roll all four years and earned her Academic Varsity letter. Laura was a Super Student. She plans to attend Baker College of Owosso to study Human Services. |

Jessica Widman is the daughter of Zip Widman of Alma and Jane Reinsmith of Middleton. Jessica was selected as the 2006 Homecoming Queen. She earned two varsity letters in volleyball and four varsity letters in softball. The CMAC softball coaches selected her as Second Team All Conference as a sophomore and First Team All Conference as a junior. She has been an active member of the Apathy Busters Club for four years. Jessica plans to play softball at
Alma College in the fall and pursue a degree in Pre-Medicine. |

Elisha Rosencrans is the daughter of Joe and Jan Rosencrans of Ithaca. Elisha played volleyball for four years earning two varsity letters and Honorable Mention All Conference twice. She has been a softball player for four years. During her athletic career, she has earned five
varsity letters. She has been very involved in Business Professionals of America serving as Co-President as a senior and qualifying for the state competition the past two years. She has been a member of National Honor Society, Science Honor Society, SADD and the Apathy Busters Club. She served her class as Student Council Representative as a senior. Elisha was recognized as a CMAC Scholar-Athlete and earned three Academic Varsity letters and various Achievement Awards. Elisha plans to study Communication Disorders at Central Michigan University in hopes of becoming a Speech and Language Pathologist. |

| Dale Winsor is the son of Brad and Julie Winsor of Perrinton. Dale played football for four years and received numerous awards. He was First Team All Conference D-Line as a senior, second Team All Conference D-Line and O-Line as a junior and Honorable Mention All Conference OLine as a sophomore. He was All Area Morning Sun D-Line as a senior and O-Line as a junior and a member of the Lansing State Journal All Area O-Line as a junior. He earned the Coaches Award as a junior and was Co-Captain as a senior. Dale wrestled for three years and ran track for four years, earning ten varsity letters during his athletic career. He was a member of SADD, Student Council and the Apathy Busters Club. He was a CMAC Scholar-Athlete and earned two Super Student Awards plus three Academic Varsity letters. He has been involved in 4-H for four years. Dale plans to attend Grand Valley State University in the fall and is undecided on a major area of study. |
