The Urinary system is the filter in our body to rid us of wastes and unusable nutrients.

Organization

Bladder- the bladder is a hollow, muscular, balloon like organ that is located in your pelvis. The urine from the kidneys collects in the bladder until the point where it is full enough to empty out the urethra.

Kidney- these bean shaped organs are positioned near the middle of your back and they contain nephrons that filter through blood to sift out the wastes. The wastes are then transferred through ureters to the bladder to await urination.

Dangers

Urinary tract infections are more common in women than men but can be very uncomfortable for anyone who has one.

Maintenance

To keep your urinary system healthy you must know when you have to go as soon as possible if you hold it or wait this can be very dangerous to your health.
