The meeting was called to order at 6:05 p.m.

Those in attendance were: Steve Proctor, Sarah Stephens, Daryl Trefil, Dee Grover, Cindy Stephens, Kelly Trefil, Michelle Freeman, Chuck Mungall, Todd Walden, Jeremy Hyler and Chad Podolak.

The minutes from February 20th were read by Sarah. Motion by Daryl, support by Steve that the minutes be accepted as read. Motion carried.

The monthly financial report was read by Sarah. Motion by Daryl, support by Michelle that the financial report be accepted as read. Motion carried.

Outstanding Bills: Motion by Daryl, support by Dee that the following bills listed for payment be paid MI HS FB Coaches Assoc $80.00, Tom MckCrackin $120.00, Sam's Club $29.66, Royal Publishing $65.00, and Kelly Trefil $14.41. Total bills listed for payment $309.07. Motion carried.

Old Business

Chad made the football jersey presentation. Motion by Sarah, support by Dee that 45 jersey shirts of each color blue & whites at a cost of $63 each be ordered. Each set of 45 will cost $2,835. Cost for both sets $5,670 from Riddle Sports. Motion carried.

Todd Walden & Jeremy Hyler were at the meeting to ask the Boosters to help with the purchase of a portable basketball rebounding machine. The total cost of the machine is $4,930.00. Discussion followed. Todd received money from the 5th & 6th grade boy's basketball tournament because his boys helped out with concessions, scoring and other jobs. He will put $1,000 towards the purchase of the machine. Jeremy doesn't have the funds available right now in his girls internal account, but stated that he would be willing to pass along proceeds from next years 5th & 6th grade girls basketball tournament and a possible alumni game. Motion by Michelle, support by Kelly that the boosters help purchase the basketball rebounding machine in the amount of $3,930 with the additional $1,000 coming from the boys internal basketball account. Motion carried.

Dee volunteered to be the concession chairperson of the Track Invitational which is scheduled for April 22

New Business

The high school yearbook wants to know if we want to do an ad again this year. Motion by Michelle, support by Dee that we do an ad in the 2006 yearbook ­ same size as in the past. Motion carried.

Proctor's Corner

Steve reported that girls track have really high numbers this year. We need to order 12 more uniforms (tank/short) at the cost of $610.80. Also, he spoke with Coach Smith regarding warm-ups and they came up with the idea of using the same sweat warm-ups for track & cross country. The cost for ordering 24 warm-ups (tops w/hoods & bottoms) would cost $1,846.60. Motion by Daryl, support by Kelly to purchase the track uniforms and warm-ups for a total cost of $2,457.40. Motion carried.

The next Booster meeting will be Monday, April 17, 2006 at 7:00 p.m.

Motion by Sarah, support by Kelly that the meeting be adjourned at 7:16 p.m.
