FULTON ATHLETIC BOOSTERS MINUTES

SEPTEMBER 18, 2006 MEETING

The meeting was called to order at 7:08 p.m. by President Daryl Trefil

Those in attendance were: Kelly Trefil, Steve Proctor, Chad Podolak, Sarah Stephens and Daryl Trefil.

The minutes from the August 7, 2006 were read individually by members present. Motion by Kelly, support by Chad that the minutes be accepted as presented. Motion carried.

The monthly financial report was read individually by members present. Motion by Kelly, support by Steve that the financial report be accepted as presented and the bills in the amount of $5,001.94 be paid. Motion carried. Motion by Kelly, support by Chad that the white boys basketball uniforms w/sample in the amount of $2,467.22 to Johnny Mac’s be paid. Motion carried.

OLD BUSINESS

A recap of the August golf outing was discussed. Sarah prepared a financial statement of the event. It was agreed the outing was a success based on the work put in and the profit turn around. A few small modifications were mentioned. We would like to set the date for next year’s outing on Aug. 18, 2007 (or as close as possible according to Overbrook’s schedule). Kelly will mention this date to Brad and Gail Baltimore. It was also decided the thank you should go into the Fulton Flyer, Gazette, Herald and Clinton County. Chad is working on a thank you to the individual tee sponsors.

NEW BUSINESS

Kelly asked if the youth football team could use the football concession stand for their games as have been done the past couple of years.

Discussed the problem with people not signing up to work the basketball and football concessions. Talked about putting a sign up and closing a couple of the concessions. Also, talked about a different way of getting workers. We will talk more next meeting.

Daryl asked if the Pirate on the football press box could be taken down and the possibility of having the art class re-paint it. Sarah will talk to Greg Wolfe about this.

Proctor’s corner

With Carson City and Dansville entering the league next year, Steve is in the process of updating and/or getting some new banners for the high school gym. Some options will be investigated and brought back to the next meeting.

Steve also mentioned that Coach Hyler would like the girl’s basketball to have their own athletic banquet. Golf and Cross Country have theirs together earlier in the season because of their seasons ending sooner then the other fall sports. The Boosters would still like to have as many teams represented at the normal banquets. It will stay as is for this year and be re-visited in the future.

The next booster meeting will be held Monday, October 16^th at 7:00 p.m.

Motion by Sarah, support by Kelly that the meeting be adjourned at 8:18 pm.
